The best martini, in my opinion: chilled, served in a small two-ounce glass, with gin—preferably Hendrick’s—a whisper of vermouth, and sometimes a twist. Olives are always on the side. Blue cheese olives are a plus! My favorite martinis in London can be found at Tobi Masa, The Connaught Bar, and, of course, Dukes.
